Beschreibung: September 27th 4:19pm - Case #9685254 - Petty Theft - LP Officer observed suspect attempting to steal a designer vest with a value of $45.00. Once theft was confirmed, LP officer confronted the suspect before exiting the store. Suspect was processed into the theft database. Legal guardian (Mother) was notified of the suspect being in custody. During paperwork, the mother and suspect were distraught; letting LP officer know of suspects bright future and consequences of Law Enforcement involvement. LP officer on duty chose not to prosecute the case after lengthy interview process. Evidence logged on Sept 22, 2016.
